All manufactured homes shall be anchored to runners 18 inches wide and 6 inches thick of reinforced concrete placed at a maximum of 8 foot intervals or for each weight bearing portion of the home. All manufactured homes shall provide a crawl space a minimum of 16 inches in height under the entire home. All wheels and axle assembly, tongues or towing devices shall be screened from view. All manufactured homes shall be skirted by masonry, metal, or other material acceptable to the Commission, around the entire unit. Permanent steps meeting the Uniform Building Code shall be affixed at all exits within 3 months of placement. The manufactured home and property shall be in the same ownership. And, all manufactured homes shall comply with Federal and State codes or regulations for construction. Long term use of an RV of up to one year for the sole purpose of temporary housing during construction of a permanent residence is allowed under the following conditions: The RV must be properly licensed, The RV must be parked on the property where the permanent residence is being constructed, The RV must be connected to town water, to a pre-approved electrical meter and connected to a pre-approved permanent septic system on the property. There must be an approved building permit in affect for that site and a temporary use permit is required from the Town of Marcus.
